The linked recording is an excerpt of one of the classes for the ROOTED programme, which supports white people to begin to address, heal, and learn from our inheritance of white supremacy, through exploring and telling an ancestor's story.
The linked Youtube video is part one of a presentation I gave about money, for the Sowing Post-Capitalist Seeds course.
Skin and Stone is an original story I created and told for the DigIt!2015 festival, based on artefacts and art at The Surgeons' Hall Museum, National Museum of Scotland, and Greyfriars' Kirkyard in Edinburgh, in October 2015.
The Nine Enchanted Stags is an ancient Romanian colinde, or Christmas song, the story of which I told for a live online gathering, exploring how we can refind and reclaim magic during the Yuletide season.
I spoke with Pavini Moray on the Bespoken Bones podcast about how white people can work with our ancestors, and the mix of blessings and horrors they left to us, to begin to address, heal, and learn from our inheritance of white supremacy.
I had a deep, deep conversation with Christine Petty on her podcast, about creativity, storytelling and connecting with our ancestors, and learned something new about myself in the process.
